ARCHITECTURE ENGINEERING CONSTRUCTION TRAINING
Our 3 day course will provide a thorough understanding of the content and capability of AutoCAD Plant 3D.
Students will also gain a clear understanding of design workflow concepts and methods by which a fully integrated design solution can be developed and presented using Plant 3D.

The Autodesk® Revit® Architecture software is a powerful Building Information Modelling (BIM) program that works the way Architects think. From Preliminary Design through Design Development, and into Construction Documents, the program streamlines the design process with a central 3D model. Changes made in one view update across all views and on the printable sheets. This course is designed to teach you the Autodesk Revit functionality as you would work with it in the design process. You begin by learning about the user interface and the Autodesk Revit commands for design development followed by those available for construction documentation.

The Revit Platform course at Cadgroup is designed for students wishing to learn Autodesk Revit Structure or Autodesk Revit MEP. This 2 day course covers the Autodesk Revit platform in detail from schematic design through to general documentation.
Students are introduced to the concept of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and the tools for parametric building design and documentation.
No previous CAD experience is necessary, however building design or drafting experience is highly recommended. Best results are achieved if the student prepares for the course by completing the first two tutorials from the HELP pull-down menu in Revit 2013.

To take full advantage of Building Information Modeling, the Autodesk Revit Structure 2013 Fundamentals training course has been designed to teach the concepts and principles from building design through construction documentation using the Autodesk Revit Structure 2013 software. This course is intended to introduce students to the user interface and the basic building components of the software that makes it a powerful and flexible structural modeling tool. The goal is to familiarize you with the tools necessary to create, modify, and document your parametric model.

The Autodesk® NavisWorks® 2012 Essentials course instructs students in best approaches to combine 3D geometry from cross disciplines into one scene to enable effective model reviews. Through a hands-on, practice-intensive curriculum, students acquire the knowledge needed to review and markup the model, use TimeLiner, Animator, Scripter, and Presenter, as well as the Clash Detective tools within NavisWorks.
Using the functionality of the Autodesk® NavisWorks® Review, Simulate, and Manage features, students learn how to open, review, and run object-interference checks on 3D models. Students also learn how to link to task-scheduling files and create 4D construction simulations. Using the Animator and Scripter tools, students create interactive animations. In addition, students learn how the Presenter tools can help them create photorealistic images and animations.
